Original Painting Vietnam War US Fighter Pilot P-4A Flight Helmet O2 Mask Jacket
This is a painting of an American jet pilot either in the Korean War or Vietnam war era. He's wearing a P-4 type flight helmet, oxygen mask, life preserver, silk scarf, and a leather flight jacket. The painting is signed by "C Clements" (partially obscured below the edge of the frame), and again the backing of the frame is inscribed and signed by the artist.
It appears to me to be oil on paper (like a sketch book type thick paper). I do not intend to take it out of the frame. I've been back and forth about keeping this, because I really love it. But, I don't NEED it. If you collect flight gear or jet helmets or USAF stuff, you DO need it!It's really great and would fit so well with a collection of pilot's gear. Measurements are shown in the first two pictures. Description of item is correct to the best of my knowledge at the time of listing. Condition as stated is what I deem as an accurate assessment of the condition and integrity of the product.
