This is size large 1957 manufactured MB-4 (P-4A) flight helmet. The helmet has markings of hard use of fighters but it is a complete unit with an interesting oxygen mask receivers. MB-4 flight helmets were manufactured for a Strategic Air Command (SAC) but in this case this MB-4 has been modified for Bartholf with P-4A visor so it is making this MB-4 helmet more interesting one. I guess this is his F-101 Voodoo or F-102 Delta Dagger era helmet. Maybe he used this helmet also at RAF Woodbridge as well in the early 1960's.The item "USAF MB-4 Flight Helmet Named Vietnam War Pilot 1957 P-4A LARGE F-4 F-100 F-101" is in sale since Monday, April 26, 2021.
