Tested Functional Gentex Hgu-56 Helicopter Pilot Flight Helmet Sz LG Full Setup

A well used 1995 early production HGU-56 helmet, can't read the full label. Size large with a maxillofacial shield.

The visors are in serviceable condition, and the communications system has been tested and confirmed functional. Overall, the helmet is in good condition for its age, though it does show typical wear, scratches and dings. There is some degradation of the earcup spacers which has left a black tar like residue on the label and suspension harness (see photos). The maxillofacial shield has a paint chip on the nose area and a crack or two starting. It could be repaired and repainted if desired.
