Donald spent his career in the Military, both in the Navy and Marines. While in the Military, He served in Vietnam, was a search and rescue swimmer and instructor, was a helicopter mechanic and spent time on many aircraft carriers. Donald was very proud of his military service.

Very very cool set of helmets here, very rare to have a matching set belonging to the same service man. These are extremely desirable to collectors, Vietnam militaria seems to be picking up steam.
