Incredibly rare lighter colour tropical version of the Netzkopfhaube. This is the classic amongst classic for fighter pilots. It is a helmet equipped only for the two point oxygen mask connection typical for the FW 190, Bf109 and Me 262 pilots.

The helmet is in excellent shape, being of a later construction with the shorter fixed connection cable to the aircraft. The helmet is in excellent condition although there is a very professional repair of about 7cm length to the mesh. It does not detract at all from the helmet appearance. This type of color on the mesh helmet is rarely encountered and would be a great addition for someone looking to make a tropical Luftwaffe pilot of JG 27 the likes of Marseille. It has all labels and those are perfectly readable. There are some stamps present that would indicate use after the war in another airforce. This offer is definitely unique and accordingly priced.
