60's GENTEX BPH-2 US NAVY PILOT (PATROL TYPE) FLIGHT HELMET
BPH-2 Patrol Helmet manufactured by Gentex Corp. In the mid 60's for use by US Navy pilots for use in slower patrol and transport aircraft. Includes tinted retractable visor , communications receivers with rubber coated cord (soft & flexible). Has unique original reflective tape that was added as an aid to help locate downed pilots at sea. Interior foam and exterior rubber plugs deteriorated and are missing (see photos). Photos are of the actual item you will receive, foam head not included. Good condition for being over 50 years ol.
