WW2 WWII USN NAF 1092 Leather Pilot Flight Hat Helmet Cap/Identified/Deadstk

Here's a Navy NAF 1092 WWII leather wool pilot's that was used by a WWII US Navy bomber flyer. It's in incredible condition! Buckles are shiny and work, no leather cracking, and supple. My guess is that this was his spare.

There are two metal staples in the leather chin piece, one with a scrap of paper attached. I can gladly include a copy of the pilot's name/discharge papers along with a war photo of him and his flying crew. I have quite a number of items from this same WWII USN pilot, please check my other listings. Vintage items in as found condition unless otherwise stated.

Most has been packed/stored away for quite some time. Has not been cleaned unless otherwise stated.
