Well worn boots, size 10,5. I have bought these items from the States. CS/FRP-1 size 40L coveralls belonged to VAQ-135 XO and later CO Dean L. The rest of the flight gear were worn by Charles L.

Carroll II while he was flying A-4 Skyhawks of VA-55 with 26 missions during Vietnam War. I do own his VAQ-138 Prowler used helmet and VA-55 era MS22001 mask but those items are not for sale.

Carroll, II, 73, of Orleans, VT formerly of Des Moines, IA passed away suddenly on May 11, 2017 at his home. He was born on February 7, 1944 in Des Moines, IA the son of the late Charles L.

Carroll, Sr and Dorothy Dunn. He graduated from Dowling Catholic High School, class of 1962 in West Des Moines, IA. In 1967 he received a bachelors in journalism from Drake University of Des Moines, IA. He entered the United States Navy during the Vietnam war serving as a combat pilot and while he was in the Navy he worked for the Department of Defense. He was decorated with the National Defense Service Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Navy Commendation Medal 9th Award, Strike Flight Medal, 17th Award, Air Medal, 2nd Award, Vietnam Service Medal With Bronze Star, Navy Unit Commendation, Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation (Gallantry Cross Medal Color With Palm) and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. He flew 26 missions off the USS Hancock during the Vietnam War and later, the USS John F.
